On Death Wishes
Crap, attended church yesterday and heard a sad tale of one depraved girl who tried to commit suicide by popping pills... (reminds me of 'Under The Influence' first stanza lol nvm) So it brings me to post this highly random post about taking your own life ethically. Ok so i remember having this one 'very highly intellectual discussion' wif kel abt this b4 and the conclusion was that kel advocates jumping from high places while i would prefer a lethal dose of iva kcl. anyway, i'll just briefly rattle on abt some (lousy) ways to die.
i. On cutting/slitting your wrist. Please do NOT do this if you are really pursuing death i.e. do this only if you just want to get everybody scarred and worked up for a while :P the reason being that there are no less than 20 tendons at ur wrist incl a reticula (kinda like a hard sheet of crap) so its gonna be really hard to hit the artery proper. and, because you don't die from bleeding here, not that easy to die from this, you might end up losing the use of one hand if you also suay-suay cut the nerves...aww... so dun do this...
ii. On swallowing lots of pills. This has got to be the most dumb-ass way to die, esp if you try to swallow like 100 panadols. the worse that could happen from this is that you dont die immediately but you could get liver/kidney failure and die from that... sucks
iii. On leaping from high places. this is a sure-die method, so long as the initial height (physics POV a la kelvin's way of thought) is high enuff to create a great enough resultant force from the ground to kill you. But ethically speaking, try NOT to do this cuz 1stly, you'll be in pieces. 2ndly, please spare a thought for the poor sweepers/cleaniness technologists who'd haf to spend hours wiping your splattered blood from the building walls...... this applies to decapitation as well, ur 'fountain' could hit 6m high...
iv. heck, no time liao, so better talk abt my fav method. if you really want to die (with dignity and peace) choose this method. apparently quite painless too, but i really dunno, aint tried. yea, basically the drift of it is to go send a highly c.KCl up ur a** and whatch urself die in max 5 mins... happy trying!
